• Oedema

Causes by leaky kidneys - may be post infective

Epidemiology:

• Typically first diagnosed at 2-5 yrs old
• Boys more commonly affected tham girls
• More common if FHx of allergies or asia background

Aetiology

• Minimal change disease accounts for 95% of cases
• Focal segmental glomerulosclerosis
• membranous nephropathy
• Multisystem disorders
• Congenital nephrotic syndrome
