Localised sensory Sx of the outer thigh caused by compression of the LFCN.
It is a mononeuropathy (only affects a single nerve)
In the LFCN distribution (upper outer thigh):
Patients may describe:
Aggrevated by walking or standing for a long duration, improve when sitting down
On examination:
To rule out other causes e.g. nerve root compression or pelvic tumours
