Emergancy drugs

Anticholinergics

• Examples: Atropine, Glycopyrulate
• Given if HR drops but BP stable

Alpha agonists

• Examples: Phenylepherine, Metaraminol
• If patient drops BP but HR is stable
• MOA: peripheral vasoconstriction

Alpha and beta agonists

• Example: Ephedrine
• If BP and HR drops
