There is a wide range of possible causes of hepatomegaly including but not limited to:

• Hepatitis (infective and non-infective)
• Hepatocellular carcinoma
• Hepatic metastases
• Wilson’s disease
• Haemochromatosis
• Leukaemia
• Myeloma
• Glandular fever
• Primary biliary cirrhosis
• Tricuspid regurgitation
• Haemolytic anaemia
