MOA - To prevent sperm/egg interaction
Advantages - Cheap and readily available, STI protection,
Disadvantages - Latex allergies (polyuthrene condoms can be used in latex allergy), some sensation loss, can fail, needs education on use
MOA - provides a physical barrier between sperm and egg
Efficacy - 98% effective but user dependant
MOA - Covers the cervix to prevent sperm accessing uterine activity, also contains spermicide to kill sperm
Efficacy - 92-96% effective when used correctly
